Rome and Floyd County Habitat for Humanity offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building.  We have both new home construction and non-new home construction volunteer opportunities available to you. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older. We will work rain or shine!

For those who want to volunteer in other ways, our non-new home construction volunteer opportunities include: A Brush With Kindness, Critical Home Repair, Deconstruction, HomeMart Support, Office Work, Committees, and Mentoring.

For groups of volunteers, please review our Groups Page for more information.

It's quick and simple to find out where we have volunteer needs, and to sign up with us for those. Just visit our Volunteer Calendar, find an opportunity that suits your interests and availability, and click the "SIGN UP" button.
